When will I receive my City of Bartlett property tax bill?
Tax bills are mailed to homeowners prior to December 1, and are payable through February 28. Taxes become delinquent March 1. Prior year taxes are collected by Shelby County.

Will my mortgage company be notified that my taxes are due?
A tax file is emailed to all of the major mortgage companies so they may identify the parcels they need to pay.

Who appraises my property?
The Shelby County Assessor's office is responsible for appraising all properties in Shelby County. They are located at: 1075 Mullins Station Road, Memphis, TN.

Who do I contact regarding a change of ownership or mailing address?
All appraisal changes as well as changes in ownership come from the Shelby County Assessor's office (901-379-7333).

Are there other locations where I may pay my delinquent City of Bartlett property taxes?
Delinquent taxes may also by paid at the Shelby County Trustee's office at 160 N. Main (second floor) between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Does the City of Bartlett offer any tax relief programs?
State Tax Relief may be available to citizens 65 or older, with income of $24,790 or less, 100% permanently disabled veterans as determined by the Veteran's Administration or permanently disabled as rated by the Social Security Administration. Tax relief applications can be obtained from the Tax Department at Bartlett City Hall.
