Overview

New Business License applications are processed in the Tax Department at Bartlett City Hall.

Important Reminders

• Written approvals must be obtained for all businesses from the Planning Department, the Code Enforcement Department, and the Fire Marshall to ensure the proposed business is located in the proper zone.
• Obtaining a business license does not entitle the applicant to operate a business in an area not zoned for such a business.
• The City may take necessary legal action to enforce its zoning regulations.
• Non-Smoker Protection Act: please familiarize yourselves with this newly passed legislation and view the Mayor's Memo regarding this.
