We are excited to say that The Bartlett First Responders Monument has been installed. There will be a formal dedication at a later date. Due to COVID-19 the dedication has been put on hold for now.
The Bartlett First Responders Monument Ad Hoc committee was formed in 2015 to raise funds to erect a monument in Bartlett to honor first responders. The committee’s mission is: to establish a public place of recognition and appreciation for first responders, where citizens can gather, reflect and express their gratitude to those who are dedicated to protect and serve our community.
This Monument is located at Appling Lake close to the parking lot at the corner of Appling and Southern Way.
Along the sides of the walkway are brick pavers that can be purchased in honor and/or in memory of a First Responder. Show your support to the fine men and women who serve and have served to protect us. The price of a brick is $100.
Purchased bricks will be installed once a calendar year. To have a brick installed before September 11, 2020 the deadline is Friday, July 31, 2020.
