Officers responded to the Bartlett Criminal Justice Center located at 3730 Appling Rd. meeting the complainant to witness a child exchange with the biological mother.
Officers stopped a female for not having a license plate displayed on her vehicle. She advised the officers that her Tennessee license plate was stolen. The license plate was entered into NCIC as stolen.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 3200 block of Venson and found a mother and daughter were involved in a scuffle over car keys. Both parties advised officers that each have mental problems and that neither wanted to prosecute the other for assault. Scene officers could not determine a primary aggressor with both declining transport to an alternate location.
Officers responded to a vandalism complaint in the 3500 block of Morning Light where the victim/complainant reported unknown suspect(s) threw a concrete cinder block onto the hood of her vehicle.
Officers responded to a property damage complaint in the 4000 block of Shady Mill Cv. where the complainant reported unknown person(s) backed into and damaged his mail box with a vehicle.
Officers took a fraud/forgery report from the victim/complainant who alleges a female friend took several of his Bank of America checks and made fraudulent transactions.
Officers responded to an attempted burglary at the AT&T store located at 5985 Stage Rd. #30 where management found unknown suspect(s) attempted to pry open a rear access door.
Officers took a fraud/forgery report from the victim/complainant who alleges a known suspect obtained, forged, and passed several of her First Tennessee Checks.
Officers took a fraud/ID theft report where the victim/complainant reported unknown suspect(s) obtained her First South Credit Union account information and made several fraudulent transactions in Columbus, MS.
Officers took a fraud/ID theft report where the victim/complainant reported unknown suspect(s) obtained his Regions Bank account information and made several fraudulent transactions at an area Wal-Mart store.
Officers responded to a theft of a Tennessee license plate in the 6200 block of Ivanhoe Rd. where the complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole her license plate. The license plate was entered as stolen into NCIC.
Officers responded to a disturbance involving an armed party in the 8800 block of Bristol Park Dr. where the complainant advised she heard a neighbor banging on the wall of her apartment. The complainant checked on the neighbor who advised that her (complainant’s) party was too loud and woke her up. The complainant alleged that the neighbor answered the door while armed with a handgun. The neighbor advised scene officers that she does not own a firearm and gave consent to search her apartment for one and none was found. The complainant was found to have been intoxicated at the time of the call.
Officers responded to a theft complaint in the 2300 block of Champaign where the victim/complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole an Angel statute from her front yard.
Officers responded to a vandalism complaint in the 4800 block of White Oaks where the victim/complainant found unknown suspect(s) damaged his mail box with an apparent dry ice bomb.
Officers responded to “That Church” located at 6001 Bartlett Center Dr. where the complainant found that a known suspect had concealed several cam-corders in the women’s restrooms.
Officers responded to a theft complaint in the 6100 block of Camellia where the complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole her mother’s allergy medicine from the mail.
Officers responded to an assault report where the victim reported he was assaulted by a known suspect while at 7947 Sandy Wood.
Officers took a theft/fraudulent use of debit/credit card at 3730 Appling where the victim/complainant reported on 11/20/08 she used her Regions Bank debit card to make a purchase at the Back Yard Burger restaurant located on Kirby-Whitten and forgot to get her card back. On 11/21/08 she found a fraudulent transaction possibly made by Back Yard Burger employee(s) at Bloomingdales.com via the internet that she did not authorize.
Officers responded to a criminal trespassing complaint in the 6900 block of Aspenhill where the complainant reported she was out of town and did not want her daughter on the property due to past thefts. Officers found the daughter on the scene and issued her a criminal trespass warning.
Officers responded to a theft complaint at 3144 Stage Post Rd. where the complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole drilling and auger equipment from a work vehicle parked on the premises.
Officers took a counterfeiting report in the 4600 block of Dylan Valley where the complainant reported he sold a vehicle for $4000 to a known suspect and his bank advised him some of the bills were counterfeit.
Officers responded to Wolfchase Nissan located at 2956 N. Germantown Rd. where management reported they were unable to locate and account for a ’99 Chrysler Sebring (VIN#4C3AU52N3XE105873). Management reported that all sales persons have access to the keys to the vehicles on the lot and that the keys to the Sebring were missing. The vehicle was entered as stolen through NCIC.
Officers took a theft report at 3730 Appling Rd. where the victim/complainant reported that a known suspect stole $450.00 cash from her.
Officers responded to an auto burglary complaint at the Bartlett Kinder-Care located at 6000 Bartlett Center drive the victim/complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her purse containing various personal documents and credit cards.
Officers responded to an auto burglary that occurred at the Play Care day care located at 6634 Highway 70 where the victim/complainant reported a heavy set M/B with long hair wearing a white shirt exited a white GMC Yukon and stole her purse containing various personal documents. The GMC Yukon was driven by a F/B.
Officers took a theft/fraudulent use of a debit/credit card report at Business Cards of Tomorrow located at 2843 Stage Rd. where the victim/complainant advised that his American Express gold card was stolen from his desk and used to make fraudulent purchases at several area convenience stores and a Wal-Mart.
Officers responded to a theft complaint in the 5600 block of Yale Rd. where the victim/complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole a white 2006 C&W Enclosed utility trailer that was parked at this address. The trailer was entered into NCIC as stolen.
Officers responded to Yamaha of Memphis located at 6838 Highway 70 where store management reported a customer brought a motor-cycle to the shop to be worked on and found that the VIN number had been obliterated. The motor-cycle was towed to the BPD impound lot as contraband.
Officers took a theft report from St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett located at 2986 Kate-Bond where staff reported a patient was released from the hospital and refused to allow the staff to remove a heart monitor from her. She left the hospital with the monitor.
