0811260013 Auto Theft

Officers responded to an auto theft complaint in the 6700 block of Pecanhill where the victim/complainant reported her RED ’97 CHEVY BLAZER BEARING TN 690-FFZ was stolen from the drive way.  The vehicle has been entered as stolen in NCIC.

 

0811270010-0001 Stolen Vehicle Recovery

The victim/complainant who lives in the 5800 block of North reported that she located her stolen vehicle at Highway 14 & Bolen Huse.  The vehicle was removed from NCIC.

 

0811280002 Lost Property/Theft

Officers responded to the Wal-Mart located at 8400 Highway 64 where the complainant reported that she dropped/lost her wallet while walking into the store.  The wallet was recovered in the parking lot minus her cash, and credit cards.

 

0811280005 Aggravated Burglary

Officers responded to an aggravated burglary in the 5900 block of S. Pamela Ann Cir. where the complainant reported unknown suspect(s) kicked in the back door and ransacked the residence.  At the time of the report it was unknown if any property was stolen.  ISD personnel processed the scene for evidence.

0811280016 Missing Person (Runaway)

Officers responded to a runaway complaint in the 4500 block of Shadow Knoll Cv. where a foster parent reported a foster child ran away shortly after arriving at her residence. 

 

0811290002 Abandoned Vehicle

Officers responded to an abandoned vehicle complaint in the 3200 block of N. Germantown Rd, located the vehicle and had it towed to a wrecker storage lot.

 

0811290003 Lost Property/Fraud

Officers responded to 3730 Appling Rd. where the complainant reported he lost his wallet while on the premises of Sam’s wholesale club located at 8480 Highway 64.  His wallet was recovered at the Kroger located at 9050 Highway 64 (Lakeland) minus his cash and credit cards.  He later found that unknown suspect(s) made fraudulent transactions with his Regions Bank debit/credit card.

 

0811290004 Robbery

Officers responded to a robbery of an individual at the Circle K store located at 8110 Highway 64 where the store manager reported two M/B’s occupying what was described as a 80’s model brown 4 door Honda bearing TN 471-LNX approached him, demanded and forcibly grabbed a box he was carrying knocking him backwards.  He believed the suspects thought the box contained the store deposit but in fact contained coffee creamer.  The vehicle registration comes back to a black ’99 Pontiac Grand Prix.


0811300005 Domestic Assault

Officers responded to a domestic assault in the 3600 block of Thistle Valley where a boyfriend/girlfriend alleged each assaulted the other when one asked the other to identify the male she told she “loved” over the phone.  Both parties were found to have injuries and both were intoxicated.  Scene officers were unable to determine a primary aggressor.

 

0811300007 Disturbance

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 3200 block of Broadway where the complainant reported an acquaintance arrived at his residence, found his ex-girlfriend at the residence, and allegedly threatened to kill the complainant because of it.  The acquaintance reported to officers that after he found his ex-girlfriend at the residence he attempted to leave when the complainant tried to provoke him into a fight and attempted to damage his vehicle. 

 

0812010002 Domestic Disturbance

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 6900 block of Baudette where the complainant alleged her live-in boyfriend pushed her into a wall, scene officers did not see any signs of injuries to her.  The boyfriend reported that he and his girlfriend argued and she told him that it would be funny if she called the police and told them he pushed her so that he would get arrested.  She wanted officers to evict him from the residence and she was advised she would have to take the legal steps required to get him evicted.  Scene officers could not determine if an assault took place or not, nor could it be determined who the primary aggressor might be.

 

0812010005 Theft

Officers responded to a theft from a vending machine complaint at the Kroger located at 5995 Stage Rd. where store management reported a M/W described as being 5’4”-5’6” tall, mid 30’s wearing gray slacks, black dress shirt and black leather jacket broke into a Coke machine outside of the Kroger entrance.  The suspect was seen by a witness leaving the store in a blue ’03 Dodge Neon bearing TN 835-LKP.

0812010011 Assault

Officers responded to an assault complaint at the Waffle house located at 3343 N. Germantown Rd. where the complainant reported he arrived at the location to pay a debt to a waitress named “Shelly” when her boyfriend, a known suspect, allegedly assaulted the complainant and vandalized his vehicle.

 

0812010015 Theft (Purse)

Officers responded to the Popeye’s restaurant located at 6085 Stage Rd. where the victim/complainant reported she left her purse in the business and when she returned she found that unknown suspect(s) stole $150 from it and threw it in a garbage can.  Video surveillance is available.

 

0812010016 Theft O/$1000

Officers responded to a theft that occurred at the Country Buffet located at 6105 Stage Rd. where store management reported a terminated employee stole a company lap top computer due to a disagreement over his wages on his last pay check.

 

0812010021 Vandalism

Officers responded to a vandalism complaint where the Gillia Circle homeowner association reported unknown suspect(s) vandalized the gazebo at the entrance by kicking out the lattice trim.

 

0812020003 Burglary (Commercial)

Officers responded to a commercial alarm at the BP Service station located at 5984 Stage Rd. and found a store window shattered.  Store management reported that Newport cigarettes were stolen along with rolled coins.  Store video captured a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser arrive on the scene in the early morning hours, a M/B wearing blue jeans and a gray zip up hooded jacket exited the vehicle,  threw a brick through the window, entered the store and took the merchandise and money.  The suspect was in and out of the store in approximately 40 seconds. 

 

0812020005 Assault (Non-Domestic Violence)

Officers responded to a fight victim in the area of a Shelby County Bus stop located at Stage Rd. & Stage Park Plc and found a juvenile was punched in the face by a known juvenile suspect. 

 

0812020007 Theft U/$500

Officers took a theft report from the complainant who reported that while shopping at the Wal-Mart located at 8400 Highway 64 an unknown suspect stole $375.00 worth of WIC vouchers from her purse.

 

0812020015 Suspicious Circumstance

Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance call from the complainant who lives in the 6100 block of Dana Cheryl regarding a letter she received in the mail from a inmate in the Federal Penitentiary in Lewisberg, PA.  the complainant does not know anyone nor does she have any relative incarcerated.

 

0812020016 Fraud/Identity Theft

Officers took a fraud/identity theft report from the complainant who reported unknown suspect(s) obtained her Capitol One credit card information and made a fraudulent purchase from a medical supply company located in the state of Georgia.

 

0812010025 Burglary (Aggravated)

Officers responded to an aggravated burglary at 5:05pm to the 8300 block of Callie Manor where the victims found the back door to their residence kicked in and several computers along with a television stolen.  Witnesses observed a M/B described as 5’8”-5’10” tall, wearing blue jeans and a sweat shirt operating a teal or light blue older vehicle with tinted windows leaving the victim’s driveway between the hours of 10:00am-12:30am.

 

0812020013 Fraud/Fraudulent Checks

Officers responded to Ferrell Enterprise located at 2810 Bartlett Rd. #12 reported the property manager’s vehicle was broken into and the rent check for Ferrell Enterprise was stolen.  Management of Speedy’s located at 1341 Airways contacted Ferrell Enterprise due to someone attempting to cash one of the checks stolen and were advised to decline it.  Bank of Bartlett further informed Ferrell Enterprise that an additional 13 checks had been attempted to be passed.

 

0812030005 Burglary (Aggravated)

Officers responded to an aggravated burglary on Russell Hurst where the complainant reported that unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the residence which is for sale through Crye-Leike realtors and damaged the walls and carpets.  Entry to the residence was gained through the back door being pried open.

 

0812030010 Burglary (Auto)

Officers responded to an auto burglary at the Country Buffet located at 6105 Stage Rd. where the victim reported unknown suspect(s) broke into her Chevy Tahoe by breaking out a passenger window.  The suspect(s) stole a multi-color bowling bag with ball, a James Taylor Christmas CD, and a camcorder.  The burglary occurred between 1215-1230hrs.

 

0812030014 Personal Injury Accident

Officers responded to Northstar and found that victim's vehicle slipped out of gear and ran over him in his driveway.  Bartlett Fire Department Unit #1 paramedics transported him to the Med for treatment.

 

0812030015 Civil Matter

Officers took a report from the complainant who reported sometime during the month of July 2008 an unknown person sent her a multi-media pornographic message and was charged by the phone company for it.

 

0812030024 Suspicious Circumstance

Officers responded to the 6200 block of Ledgewood were the complainant reported a black vehicle was parked in the drive and several individuals were removing property.  Officers located, stopped, and identified the individuals.  Officers later made contact with home owner who now lives in Florida who advised the home is in foreclosure and that no one except her son is supposed to be removing property.

0812030023 Disturbance/Assault

Officers responded to the Wal-Mart located at 6520 Memphis-Arlington in regards to a fight that took place at approximately 2130hrs where the parties involved allege the other started a fight.

 

0812040005 Vandalism

Officers responded to a vandalism complaint in the 6800 block of Dawnhill where the complainant reported that he found a front window broken out by a rock.  The complainant advised his sister has been having problems with a two known females and believe they are the responsible parties.

 

0812040006 Assault (Offensive Contact)

Officers responded to Bartlett High School located at 5866 Woodlawn where a female juvenile reported to the school resource officer that a male juvenile has been constantly grabbing her buttocks and rubbing her thighs.  The parents of the juveniles were contacted and the female’s mother declined to pursue charges. The male student was suspended for three days.

Officers responded to vandalism in the 3100 block of Leeridge where the complainant reported unknown suspect(s) damaged her garage door.

 

0812040014 Property Damage

Officers responded to a property damage report in the 4500 block of Shadowlawn were the complainant reported unknown person(s) damaged her mailbox.

 

0812040019 Property Damage

Officers responded to Freeman Park located at 2860 Bartlett Bl. where the complainant reported unknown person(s) damaged his vehicle by denting his quarter panel.

 

0812040021 Missing Person (Juvenile)

Officers responded to a runaway complaint in the 8800 block of Seth Cv. where the complainant reported his nephew ran away from home and is possibly in South Memphis.

 

0812040024 Burglary (Auto)

Officers responded to a an auto burglary complaint at the Walgreen located at 8097 Highway 70 where the complainant reported unknown person broke out a passenger window of his vehicle and stole miscellaneous items.

 

0812050004 Assault (Disturbance)

Officers responded to the CK’s coffee shop located at 6815 Stage Rd. where the complainants were involved in a fight in the parking lot.  Officers found a window of a vehicle belonging to one of the involved parties had been broken out by during the fight.
