090102-0001 Disturbance (Criminal Trespass)

Officers responded to a disturbance at St. Francis Hospital located at 2986 Kate-Bond where security staff reported a known suspect arrives at the hospital three or four times a week taking photo’s of women in the waiting room and stealing coffee.  Scene officers issued the suspect a criminal trespass warning.

 

090102-0005 Theft (Residential)

Officers responded to a theft complaint in the 7200 block of Andrews where the victim/complainant reported he believes a known suspect stole jewelry and a lap top computer from his/her residence.

 

090102-0006 Property Damage (Vehicle)

Officers responded to a property damage complaint at the Bartlett Criminal Justice Center located at 3730 Appling Rd. where the complainant reported his/her vehicle was damaged on 12/31/08 while parked at the Hollywood Cinema lot located at 6711 Stage Rd.  Scene officer could not determine if the damage was done by another vehicle.  The complainant reported on the date of the damage a large fight broke out on the lot and he/she believes that is when the damage was done.

 

090102-0008 Found Property (Bicycle)

Officers responded to a found property complaint in the 2900 block of Elmore Park where the complainant found a blue “Next” brand BMX bike abandoned at his/her residence.  The bike was placed on the BPD impound lot.

 

090102-0010 Theft (License Plate)

Officers responded to a theft complaint in the 5000 block of Misty River where the complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole his TN license plate from his vehicle.  The registration was entered into NCIC as stolen.

 

090102-0012 Burglary (Aggravated)

Officers responded to an aggravated burglary complaint in the 3700 block of E. Russell Hurst Dr. where the complainant reported unknown suspect(s) broke into the foreclosed residence and vandalized the interior. ISD processed the scene and recovered latent prints.

 

090102-0013 Burglary (Auto)

Officers responded to an auto burglary complaint in the 4300 of N. Maher Cv. where the victim/complainant reported that while walking the trails at Quail Ridge Park unknown suspect(s) broke into his/her vehicle stealing personal property.

 

0901020014 Disturbance (Domestic)

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 7100 block of Memphis-Arlington where a husband and wife were involved in an argument over family issues when he punched a hole in the wall.  No assault took place and the wife voluntarily left the residence for the evening.

 

0901020021 Fraud

Officers responded to a fraud complaint at 3730 Appling Rd. where complainant Braxton Ross reported a Lisa Newton has opened an AT&T phone account under his name.

 

0901020022 Theft

Officers responded to a theft complaint at 5995 Stage Rd (Kroger) where the victim reported an unidentified F/B stole her wallet out of her purse.  The victim located her wallet hidden underneath a loaf of bread and confronted the suspect who stated she did not know anything about it.

 

0901020023 Civil Matter

Officers responded to a civil matter/child custody dispute at 3730 Appling Rd. where the complainant reported that the mother of his child failed to produce the child for his court ordered visitation.

 

0901020026 Vandalism

Officers responded to a vandalism complaint in the 3900 block of Norton where the complainant reported a group of juveniles were playing around her vehicle and one of the juveniles damaged a door mirror.

 

0901020032 Theft

Officers responded to a theft complaint in the 3000 block of Charles Bryan where the complainant reported that a possible known suspect stole home electronics.

 

0901030012 Suspicious Circumstances

Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance complaint in the 6300 block of Yale Rd. where the complainant reported two males entered his backyard, were confronted, and advised that they worked for Comcast cable.  The complainant contacted the cable company who advised there were no workers in the area as the two males jumped his fence leaving his property.

 

0901030014 Assault (Domestic)

Officers responded to a domestic assault complaint in the 8200 block of Thorne where the victim reported her boyfriend assaulted her while she was driving her vehicle causing her to wreck into a curb.  The boyfriend was not on the scene when officers arrived.

 

0901030017 Property Damage (Residential)

Officers responded to a property damage complaint in the 4700 block of Snickers Dr. where the complainant reported her son’s girlfriend accidently struck a wall in the car port damaging the sheet rock.

 

0901030019 Disturbance (Domestic)

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 3800 block of Robin Hill where officers found a husband and wife were involved in a verbal argument.  No assault took place and both agreed to stay separated.

 

0901040003 Missing Person (Adult)

Officers responded to a missing person complaint at Charter Lakeside Hospital located at 2985 Brunswick Rd. where staff reported that a patient left the hospital, was located by staff, and fled out of the hospital van.  The patient is reportedly violent and has suicidal tendencies.  The patient was entered into NCIC as an endangered missing adult under NIC#M957880336.

 

0901040009 Theft (License Plate)

Officers responded to a theft complaint at Lowe’s located at 8300 Highway 64 where the victim/complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole a license plate from his vehicle.

 

0901040014 Civil Matter (Child Custody)

Officers responded to a civil matter in the 3600 block Tiffany Oaks where the complainant advised that his ex-wife refused to produce their child for court ordered visitation.

 

0901050003 Suspicious Circumstances (Prowler)

Officers responded to a prowler complaint in the 3800 block of Melanie June where the victim/complainant reported a M/W was looking through a bathroom window at her in the early morning hours.

 

0901050005 Attempted Burglary

Officers responded to 5871 Stage Road, Damon Marcus Sheet Metal in regards to an attempted burglary.  Victim/complainant, Drannon Bingham, reported no known suspect(s).  Does not appear that any property has been taken.

 

0901050006 Theft

Officer responded to a theft at Lincare, located at 7535 Bartlett Corp Dr.  Victim/complainant reported license plate from company’s work van was taken.

 

0901050010 Auto Burglary

Officers responded to 7700 Flaherty Place (Bartlett Recreation Center) to an auto burglary.  Victim/complainant reported unknown suspect (s0 broke out the window of her vehicle and took her purse from behind the front passenger’s seat.

 

0901050015 Auto Theft

Officers responded to 6821 Hwy 70 in regards to an auto theft from Dylan Company Tow Lot.  Victim/complaint reported unknown suspect(s) had taken a 2004 white Chevrolet Malibu, VA tag #KCW7009.

 

0901050019 Property Damage

Officers responded to a property damage, not sure when damage occurred.  Victim/complainant reported noticing damage while shopping at 5995 Stage Road (Kroger).

 

0901050020 Theft

Officers responded to a theft complaint at 8097 Hwy. 64 at Walgreens, Store manager reported witness/employee notified her of the theft.  Suspect is a male black wearing a camo jacket.  Mr. Scales Chased Suspect from store. 

 

0901050023 Fraud

Officers responded to a Fraud complaint in the 5600 block of Ferguson Road.  Victim/complainant stated the debit card for her business had been fraudulently used.  Card was never lost or stolen and used to make purchases only on the internet.

 

0901050026 Burglary

Officers responded to 3730 Appling Road in regards to a burglary complaint in the 7900  block of Bandye lane.  Victim/complainant reported she believes unknown suspect(s) entered her home while she was on vacation.

 

0901050027 Theft

Officers responded to the 3300 block of Summerhill in regards to a theft.  Victim/complainant was told by witnesses of a known suspect took a money order out of the mailbox and had torn it up.

 

0901060001 Found Property

Officers responded to 6127 Stage Road (Mapco) in regards to fund property.  Complainant stated victim had left his money clip, credit cares and money on the counter.  Property receipt completed and property placed into evidence.

 

0901060003 Property Damage

Officer observed damage to grass and a tree on west side of 6506 Memphis Arlington (Citgo Gas Station).  Tire marks observed by  officer.  Unable to contact the business, station was closed.

 

0901060005 Vehicle Fire

Officer was notified by motorist that there was a vehicle on fire in the 4300 block of Fiske Valley.  Bartlett Fire Department made the scene and will conduct an investigation.

 

0901060007 Domestic Disturbance

Officers responded to the 7900 block of Anna Calla Way in regards to a domestic disturbance.  Victims/complainants, suspects were involved in an argument.  Primary aggressor not determined.

 

0901060013 Vandalism

Officers responded to 4000 block of Blackheath in regards to vandalism to a mailbox.  Victim/complainant reported unknown suspect(s) did damage to his mailbox.

 

0901060016 Civil Matter (child custody)

Officers responded to Bartlett Elementary in regards to civil matter.  Complainant was advised to contact Juvenile Court.

 

09010600232 Harassment

Officers responded to 6900 block of Briarhill in regards to harassment.  Victim /complainant reported that ex-boyfriend calls her and makes threats of com9ng t her house to harm her.

 

0901060024 Fraud (Investment)

Officers responded to 3730 Appling Road and spoke with complainant who reported investing money.   The investor died in early December and the interest payments have stopped and cannot make contact with anyone concerning this matter.

 

0901060026 Runaway

Juvenile runaway had disagreement with mother and ran away.

 

0901070002 Suspicious Person

Officers responded to 2986 Kate Bond (St. Francis Hospital).  Spoke with nurses who stated a man had been using different names in an effort to be admitted to the hospital because he is homeless and has nowhere to stay.
