090706-0003 Vandalism U/500

Officer responded to Scepter in regards to vandalism. Victim Douglas advised that his mailbox was destroyed by fireworks. There are no suspects at the time of the report.

 

090706-0002 Assault (Simple)

Officer responded to Baptist Hospital East in regards to an assault that occurred at Youth Villages. A juvenile female advised that she was struck in the eye with a closed fist by another juvenile female. The suspect is a ward of the state.

 

090706-0010 Fraud

Officer responded in regards to the fraudulent use of a debit card. Victim advised that he left his First Tennessee Debit Card at the Applebee’s in Bartlett after he paid for his meal. Someone picked up his card from the table and made two fraudulent charges totaling $22.00. The card was canceled prior to this report.

 

090706-0013 Fraud

Officer responded in regards to a fraud complaint at Tina Cove. Victim advised that he is trying to sell his four wheeler on Craig’s List. A man sent him a check for $5,000.00 which was more than the sale price of the four wheeler. The man requested that he forward the remainder of the money to another recipient. The check was determined to be fraudulent.

 

090706-0027 Theft of Property O/500

Officer responded to Bristol Park Circle in regards to a theft. Victim advised that he had $4,500.00 hidden in the bathroom. When he returned to the residence the money was missing. .

 

090708-0004 Theft from Motor Vehicle

Officer responded to Maggie Oaks in regards to an auto burglary. Victim stated that someone entered her unlocked vehicle that was parked at her residence and stole a pair of sunglasses valued at $40.00.

 

090708-0008 Vandalism U/500

Officer responded to 2809 Bartlett at the Malco Cinema in regards to vandalism. Victim advised that overnight graffiti was sprayed on the rear of the building. The estimated damage is $200.00.

 

090709-0013 Theft of Property O/500

Officer responded in regards to a theft. Complainant from First State Bank advised that four air conditioners were stolen from bank owned homes during the month of June. The total value of the thefts is $12,000.

 

090709-0014 Theft of Property O/500

Officer responded to 8480 Highway 64 in regards to a theft. Complainant from Sam’s advised that two males and a female entered the store and collected a Samsung DVD player valued at $1298.00. The three suspects exited the store without paying for the DVD player.

 

090709-0022 Shoplifting

Officer responded to 8400 Highway 64 at Wal-Mart in regards to a shoplifting. Loss prevention advised that a male juvenile exited the store with a grocery cart full of food without attempting to pay for the merchandise. The value of the items taken was $294.28.

 

090710-0009 Vandalism U/500

Officer responded to Oakmoor in regards to vandalism. Victim advised that someone slashed two tires on his vehicle. The estimated value of the damage is $325.00.

 

090710-0030 Theft

Officer responded to 8140 Highway 64 at Circle K in regards to a theft. Complainant advised that a male entered the store and walked out with two eighteen packs of beer without attempting to pay for the beer. The beer was valued at $30.00.

 

090711-0014 Public Intoxication

Officer responded to Robin Hill in regards to a disturbance. Officers found suspect in the front yard yelling at her husband. Officers determined her to be under the influence of an intoxicant. She was transported to the Bartlett Criminal Justice Center.

 

090711-0020 Burglary of an Auto

Officers responded to 2986 Kate Bond at St. Francis Hospital in regards to a suspicious person. Officers found suspect to be in possession of a stolen car stereo from a vehicle at Serra Chevrolet. Officer also found him to be in possession of valium without a prescription. He was transported to the Bartlett Criminal Justice Center.

 

090711-0021 Vandalism

Officer responded to the Easthill area in regards to vandalism. Officer discovered that several mailboxes in the neighborhood had been vandalized. The suspects were driving a red pickup truck.

 

090712-0014 Burglary (Aggravated)

Officer responded to Ruffle in regards to an aggravated burglary. Victim advised that someone broke into his attached garage and stole $915.00 worth of lawn equipment.
