Bartlett Historical Society honors Black History Month in February. Famous black Americans in history from the 1700s until present day will be featured. Included will be emotional and moving photos from the slave era. There will also be displays about local historic African-American churches including Fullview Missionary and First Baptist Church Bartlett. For this exhibit, the museum will be open every Sunday in February (2, 9, 16, 23) from 2pm-4pm. The Bartlett Historical Society is located in the Bartlett Museum/Gotten House, 2969 Court Street in Bartlett.

The City of Bartlett will conduct it’s Arbor Day Ceremony at 10am on February 28, 2020 at the Dixon-Brewer Park, 5745 Woodlawn, Bartlett TN. Mayor McDonald will be officiating. Mr. Ryan Morris, the West Tennessee Urban Forester, representing the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, will be on hand to present the City with the National Arbor Day Foundation 2019 Tree City USA Award. This will be the thirteenth year that the City of Bartlett has been awarded this award.
