  1. Citizens Police Academy

    April 2, 2020, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Justice Center

Our Spring 2020 Citizens Police Academy is set to begin on March 12! Come join us for this free, informative, entertaining, hands-on class. The Academy is offered to lay persons in our community in an effort to educate citizens and give them an opportunity to observe and understand law enforcement from a “hands on” approach. We will meet every Thursday evening for 10 weeks. Participants will have the opportunity to fingerprint items, drive a police car around a driving course, use the firearms we use and learn some of our defensive tactics. Space is very limited though, so be sure to get your application turned in to the BSMC (right next to the Bartlett Library) or Bartlett Police Headquarters (3730 Appling Rd) sooner rather than later. Call Lori Minch at 385-5510 for more information. Applications can also be found on the City of Bartlett website. https://www.cityofbartlett.org/1186/Citizens-Police-Academy
