BARTLETT FIREWORKS POST-EVENT TRAFFIC FLOW
When the fireworks event concludes, all traffic exiting the inner perimeter of the event will be sent northbound on Appling Road to Highway 70. All traffic at this intersection will have to go either eastbound or westbound on Highway 70. There will be no traffic allowed to go north on Appling Road north of the highway. The traffic that is directed to go westbound on Highway 70 will be able to use Yale Road to reach any destinations on the east or west side of the city. The traffic that is directed eastbound can use either Memphis-Arlington Road or Germantown Road to reach destinations on the east or west side of the city. All traffic exiting the private lots along Highway 70 will be required to make a right turn out of their respective lots. This includes Baby Jack's, Dollar General, Stewart Brothers, Fred's, and Kroger lots. The traffic exiting these lots can use Memphis-Arlington, Germantown Road, Broadway, and Yale Road to reach their desired destinations after this detour. Please see the attached map for further details. Our goal is to have the safest and most efficient flow of traffic possible at the conclusion of this event.
We are looking forward to a great event!!!
