MICHAEL BOLLINGER – BPACC Artistic Director
Mr. Bollinger has spent his career as a professional Producer / Director / Actor. He served as an artistic producing director in Missouri, Virginia, NYC, & Tennessee. He founded Mainstage Theatre, & directed Missouri’s oldest professional regional theater – the Lyceum Theatre. In Virginia he launched the 63,000 sq. ft. Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, directed the South Orange Performing Arts Center in greater NYC, & the Louisa Arts Center near Charlottesville, VA. Mr. Bollinger has produced &/or directed 225+ full-scale theatrical productions, & presented well over 500 concerts & events including Grammy, CMA, Dove, Ameripolitan, Blues, Emmy & Tony Award winning artists. His company performed at the Smithsonian Institution. For his work in the performing arts, he was honored with a Missouri Arts Award, as well as a commendation from President Clinton. In the Mid-South – Inside Memphis Business & Memphis Magazine included him as a significant Arts & Entertainment Leader in their annual “Power Players” issue. Michael is pleased to lead BPACC – an important arts player in the Mid-South.
