A garden is meant to be shared. It has been said, "He who shares the joy in what he's grown, spreads joy abroad and doubles his own". If you enjoy your garden, others will too. Yard of the Month awards call attention to beautiful landscapes visible to the public. However, often more attention is given to the backyard where our personalities are reflected in the plantings and ornaments used in the garden. Bartlett Open Gardens is the one day of the year that Bartlett residents can showcase their gardens by simply opening the garden gates to their piece of paradise for public viewing. It will be held this year on June 7th from 11 am to 5 pm. There are no qualifications or requirements to participate other than your willingness to share your garden with others.
We are partnering with Experience Memphis Gardens as part of a 6-week event that showcases gardens throughout our area to be held May 1 to June 14, 2026. These events are held on Fri, Sat, Sun, each of the six weeks, with different neighborhoods featured each week. These ticked events are free to attend.
